Directions to The Kandy House – Amunugama Walauwa

  • From Kandy, go over the Lewella Bridge and turn RIGHT towards Gunepanna.
  • At first fork in road (white Amballama on left) take RIGHT fork.
  • Continue along this road until you come to a 3-way junction, and a Buddha statue under glass on left. This is the village of Amunugama. Take LEFT fork.
  • Continue along this road for about another half km, then the road forks at tiny shop on left. Turn down the LEFT fork.
  • Continue for about another 200m. The Kandy House is on LEFT past large stone gateposts, black iron gates and a white house.
